Paul Marcaick has also worked as a Researcher and Research Director for Médecins sans Frontières, conducting studies on post-conflict situations (the DRC, Liberia) as well as on humanitarian interventions in complex crises (Mali, RDC, Guinea).

Before joining The US Rule of law institute in 2023, Paul Marcaick worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Paris. Prior to that, he worked as a Visiting Professor of History and African Studies at the Emory University in Atlanta and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Goerge Washington

Education

Paul Marcaick received his MA at Science-Po Paris in Political Science and History. He completed his PhD at École des Hautes Études en Science Sociales focusing on History and African Studies.
